This plug and play interface will allow the retention of OnStar® and Bose® systems in GMLAN equipped vehicles. Works with Premium and Standard Bose® audio systems.
• Provides +12v switched accessory output. No more searching for switched +12v in fuse box or kick panel.
• OnStar® volume control via factory steering wheel audio controls on Premium Bose vehicles.
• Steering wheel radio control wire output; can be used with SWI - X, ALP, ECL or PS to control most new radios. No need to go to steering wheel column to find wires.
• New radio will operate with the vehicle RAP (Retained Accessory Power) system. The radio stays on after the key is turned off and stays on for approximately 10 minutes or until the drivers door is opened.
• Retains Warning chimes and turn signal clicks.
• Retains Vehicle Parking Assist indicator and chimes.
• Retains Rear Seat Audio headphone jacks. Dual Zone can be retained using Kenwood or Alpine's Dual Zone radios.
• Retains use of DTS/5.1 surround system in Cadillac Escalade. Includes Center channel and subwoofer harness.
• Includes new style GM antenna adaptor.
